How to Insert Your Level 2 SAS-TEC Armor

When it comes to staying safe on the road or at the job site, your PPE or moto gear should be both protective and comfortable. That’s exactly what our Level 2 SAS-TEC joint armor delivers: CE Level 2 impact protection in an incredibly slim, feather-light package (thanks to its SAS-TEC TripleFlex viscoelastic foam and TPU-coated, tear-resistant fabric). Here’s how to wear it:

What You’ll Need:

  • Phantom Protectors: One set includes two larger KCB2air protectors (knee/elbow) and two smaller SCB2air units (hip/shoulder)

  • Compatible Gear: Motorcycle jackets, pants, or PPE with dedicated armor pockets for knee, elbow, shoulder, or hip protection.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Identify Sizes & Match Them to Body Areas

    • KCB2air (larger): Ideal for knees or elbows due to their larger footprint.

    • SCB2air (smaller): Best suited for hips or shoulders

  2. Open Your Armor Pockets
Unzip or unfasten the armor compartment. These open discreetly on most riding gear. Be gentle to avoid stressing seams.

  1. Install with the Fabric Side Facing Outward
Slide the protector into its pocket with the TPU-coated, tear-resistant fabric facing outward.

  2. Close and Secure the Pocket
Zip or fasten the pocket completely to prevent shifting during motion.

  3. Repeat for Other Joints
Install each protector in its designated spot—shoulders, hips, elbows, knees—so both your top and bottom halves are protected. You can even mix usage: one set in a jacket, another in pants.

Once installed, bend your arms, knees, and lean forward. The TripleFlex design stays flexible even in cold or wet conditions, delivering both protection and mobility. Adjust as needed.
